Easy Grilled Chicken Kabob

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 2 bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons paprika

  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

  • Skewers

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, or if you're feeling adventurous, start a fire with some kindling, a magnifying glass, and sheer determination.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken and toss to coat.

  3. Thread the chicken, bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers, alternating the ingredients. If you're feeling artistic, try making each skewer a unique pattern like a smiley face, a heart, or your favorite superhero.

  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

  5. During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce onto the skewers, making sure to get both sides. If you're feeling rebellious, try flinging the sauce onto the skewers using a catapult made from a spoon and a rubber band.

  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. If you're feeling fancy, try serving them on a bed of lettuce, garnished with sprigs of parsley or your favorite herbs.

  7. Finally, gather your family and friends around the table, and bask in the glow of their praise as they declare you the king or queen of BBQ. If you're feeling cheesy, try wearing a crown made of foil or a cape made of BBQ sauce-stained napkins to complete the royal look.
